Josh Coon has been named a Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor, a prestigious honor that recognizes exceptional accomplishments in research, teaching, and service. The professorship provides five years of flexible funding to support ongoing scholarly and academic endeavors.
The award is made possible through the estate of William F. Vilas (1840–1908), who served as a professor, U.S. Senator, and University of Wisconsin Regent.
