Double Congratulations to Jon Audhya!

We are delighted to celebrate two outstanding achievements by Biomolecular Chemistry Professor Jon Audhya.

First, Jon has been awarded a Vilas Research Professorship, one of the highest honors bestowed by the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Supported by the estate of Professor, U.S. Senator, and UW Regent William F. Vilas (1840–1908), Vilas Research Professorships recognize faculty members with exceptional research accomplishments, demonstrated scholarly leadership, and extraordinary promise. Recipients have made significant contributions to the university’s research mission and are recognized nationally and internationally as leaders in their fields.

In addition, Jon has been appointed Vice Dean for Research in the School of Medicine and Public Health. As the inaugural Vice Dean for Research, he will serve as the school’s chief research officer, helping to articulate the vision and goals of the research enterprise while planning for its long-term success and global impact.

Please join us in congratulating Jon on these well-deserved honors and leadership achievements. We look forward to his continued contributions to advancing research and innovation at UW–Madison and beyond.
