BMC affiliate faculty member Brad Schwartz was named a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the world’s largest general scientific society.
He was elected for distinguished contributions to the field of hematology, in particular in treating disorders of protease cascades, and for outstanding leadership and administrative services, including initiatives to increase diversity.
He joins BMC faculty Dave Brow, Jim Dahlberg, John Denu, Tricia Kiley, Deane Mosher as elected fellows.
